Vinification: this vine, of French origins, became famous and popular around the world because of Australian producers. It was introduced in Sicily in early ‘90s. It has a very low quantity per hectare and the maceration of its grapes has to be at controlled temperature for about 10-12 days.
Idea of the wine: wine made for young drinkers, with enough experience and who are searching for wines of good quality and good price.
Sensory features: red ruby, clear, with crimson highlights. Red fruits aroma, fresh and balsamic hints. Full-bodied, vivid tannins, fresh ending.
Best served with: good with red meat, barbecued and grilled meat, excellent with seasoned t matches with first courses, barbecued and roast meat, game birds and seasoned cheese.
